Action stations

Scaffolding is up.

 It now looks like it did when we saw it for the very first time back in the first half of 2013!







and here is the 'grand vista' that was so talked about when it was first built. Not quite so grand just at the moment.







Now the patching rendering and painting can commence. The contract has been signed, just need to get the indemnity insurance in place and away we go.   Next week...

The doors onto the verandah and balcony (use your imagination, they will be back there one day) have been ordered, front windows are on site ready to be put in...

...and in the meantime we are working on

• columns for the verandah and balcony. (Sounds easy but isn't they need to be tall and the right style.)
• fireplaces - that will be the main form of heating
• door openings and light switch placement so that patching, rendering and more can commence inside.
